Multi-unit Abutments: the link between implants and a full-arch bridge

Small part, big role in full-arch treatment

A Multi-unit Abutment (MUA) is screwed onto an implant and lets a whole bridge be screwed onto several implants at once. Angled versions correct for tilted implants, which is central to the All-on-4® treatment concept.1

Why angles matter

Tilted back implants avoid the sinus or nerve. An angled MUA brings the screw channel back upright so the bridge can be fitted and removed for cleaning.
