NobelReplace® S implant: the S Series version, explained

The NobelReplace® S implant is part of the S Series. Its body in the bone is the same as the classic NobelReplace® CC implant; the difference is that every size has the same Narrow Platform (NP) conical connection.1

How it relates to the classic implant

The FDA summary states that the S Series implant bodies are the same as the predicate devices, so surgeons use the same drills and protocols they know from the classic NobelReplace® CC implant.1 What changes is the top: instead of NP, RP or WP connections by width, all sizes share one NP conical connection.

The FDA 510(k) summary for the S Series (cleared 18 February 2026) describes one consistent diameter at the implant–abutment interface for every implant size and type: the Narrow Platform (NP) conical connection. 1

Nominal length is the label length; the manufacturer notes the true length differs slightly and surgeons plan with it.3

Good to know

The S Series is new (2026), so long-term clinical studies on these exact products do not exist yet. The body design has been used for many years in its classic form.
