How it relates to the classic implant
The FDA summary states that the S Series implant bodies are the same as the predicate devices, so surgeons use the same drills and protocols they know from the classic NobelActive® implant.1 What changes is the top: instead of NP, RP or WP connections by width, all sizes share one NP conical connection.
The FDA 510(k) summary for the S Series (cleared 18 February 2026) describes one consistent diameter at the implant–abutment interface for every implant size and type: the Narrow Platform (NP) conical connection. 1
Design in plain words
Like the classic NobelActive® implant, the body widens towards the top and has deep threads designed to condense bone and give high initial stability, which is why it is often discussed for fresh extraction sockets and softer bone.2
The ITI consensus on placement and loading protocols treats immediate loading as a clinical decision based on factors such as primary stability, bone and the restoration, not as a property of an implant brand. 3

Nominal length is the label length; the manufacturer notes the true length differs slightly and surgeons plan with it.4
Good to know
The S Series is new (2026), so long-term clinical studies on these exact products do not exist yet. The body design has been used for many years in its classic form.
