Looking after your implants

Implants cannot decay, but the gum and bone around them can become inflamed. Cleaning and check-ups are the most important things you can do.1

In short
  • Clean twice a day, including under bridges (water flosser or interdental brushes).
  • Professional check-ups; the manufacturer's warranty recommends maintenance exams twice a year.2
  • Stop smoking if you can.
