We found no randomised trial comparing these two implants directly. Studies of each exist, but survival figures from different studies are not a head-to-head test.

A 3-year randomised multicentre trial of immediately loaded implants found no significant difference in survival between two NobelActive® implant versions (95.7% and 96.3%) and a standard tapered NobelReplace® implant (96.6%). 9

Which one is right for me?
Neither is "better" in general. A design difference is not evidence that one gives better results for you. The surgeon decides based on your bone, the site and the planned teeth.
